iStock_000012299509MediumWe imagine that many of the wonderful Georgia mothers we see at Advanced Aesthetics enjoy reading the work of our delightful local “mommy” bloggers, who write about the joys, trials, and tribulations of raising a family. Here’s a list of our favorite mommy bloggers and a little bit about what makes each one special.

The Divine Miss Mommy
Stacie Haight Connerty is the clever creator of the The Divine Miss Mommy blog. Whether she’s rating the features of her new tablet, posting a recipe for the perfect Easter Bunny Rice Krispie treat, or giving suggestions about great ideas for family spring break getaways, she’s got her finger on the pulse of Atlanta-area moms.

Sweet Leigh Mama
What to know how to be a super mom? Check out Erica Billup’s blog, Sweet Leigh Mama. She gives you the scoop on everything from picking out a cute book for a toddler to making your own baby food—for less than $5 per week! Erica also has a great sense of humor; one funny post compares a baby’s growth in utero to the size of her favorite candies and treats.

Meghan Cooper’s mommy blog is dedicated to something we all need help with: making sense out of chaos! Meghan writes about motherhood, parenting, family life, health, travel, crafts, and recipes at JaMonkey. Her recipe for Mixed Berry Muffins with Blue Pixie Dust Streusel Topping sounds particularly scrumptious! Meghan also created a fun site called Yeah Let’s Go, which is dedicated to family travel.

Really, Are You Serious?
We love Krystyn’s Really, Are You Serious? blog for its realistic yet humorous and tender look at managing life with four—count ‘em, four—daughters. Her “Mommy and Me Monday” feature is especially endearing, because it challenges readers to take a picture of themselves with one of their children. As we all know, Mom is usually left out of the photos because she is always behind the camera taking the pictures, not posing for them.

Raising healthy, happy children is rewarding and a full-time job in and of itself, so it’s great to read how these Atlanta mamas are keeping kids entertained, whipping up tasty and nutritious meals, kissing endless boo-boos, and handling hundreds of other duties with grace and good humor.

While mothering gives us all great stories to tell, we know it also can take a toll on how you look and feel. If you’re ready for a cosmetic pick-me-up, our board certified plastic surgeons offer procedures that can refresh your skin, rejuvenate your body, and generally make you feel fabulous about yourself.
